Dubai will host "Fluidity 2025," connecting GCC and Sub-Saharan Africa's startup and tech sectors.

Scheduled for April 7-8, 2025, it will focus on growth and innovation at Al Habtoor City.

Prominent names like Microsoft and AWS will discuss Fintech, AI, and blockchain innovations.

The event aims to boost trade, investment, and strategic cooperation between the regions.

Dubai's status as a global financial hub makes it the ideal venue for such a summit.

Dubai is gearing up to host "Fluidity 2025," a prominent two-day summit set to bridge the thriving Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with Sub-Saharan Africa’s emerging startup and technology landscapes. Scheduled for 7th and 8th April 2025, the conference will unfold at Al Habtoor City, drawing some of the sharpest minds in business, investing, and tech to discuss opportunities for growth, innovation, and partnerships.

Well-known global names like Flutterwave, IFC, Yango, LoftyInc, Microsoft, and AWS will all be part of the ace lineup, leading conversations around Fintech, artificial intelligence, and blockchain. More than 200 key players are set to attend, from venture capital big-hitters to unicorn company founders, gathering to explore possibilities around investments, strategic cooperation, and joint ventures.

There's little surprise Dubai is playing host to such an event, given its status as an increasingly prominent global financial hub. In fact, it was the only city in the MENA region to feature among the top 15 major financial centres in the most recent Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI)—quite the achievement.

With Fluidity 2025 acting as a focal point, the GCC and Sub-Saharan Africa are expected to strengthen connections, boosting trade flows and investments even further. The meeting won't just focus on popular fintech trends like 'Buy Now, Pay Later' (BNPL), but will also delve into electronic payments, transaction processing, and a host of fintech ecosystems that are shaping today's digital economies.

Just imagine a Dubai friday brunch, but instead of fancy eggs Benedict and bottomless beverages, the menu showcases a buffet of brilliant ideas and business strategies. Events like Fluidity 2025 seem perfectly placed to cultivate these vital, cross-border connections, opening fresh avenues of economic opportunity and innovation for both regions.
