Abu Dhabi is gearing up for another big moment on its industrial calendar, as Make it in the Emirates 2026 returns to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 4 to 7 May. Among the names set to take the stage is Inception, a G42 company known for building AI-powered products out of the UAE.
Inception will be based in Hall 8, where it plans to showcase a curated portfolio of its AI offerings and unveil a new solution aimed at accelerating enterprise transformation through artificial intelligence. The company positions itself as “AI-native” from the ground up, built on years of research and development, and closely aligned with the UAE’s push to strengthen its industrial and technological base.
If you’ve been following the region’s AI story, you’ll know this is more than just another exhibition stand. The company is expected to demonstrate its key platforms live, including (In)Sight, described as a leadership intelligence platform, and (In)Alpha, an investment decision-making tool designed to improve efficiency for investment managers. These aren’t just dashboards and flashy screens; they are meant to sit at the core of how organisations make decisions.
Ashish Koshy, CEO of Inception, said in a statement that the event reflects what the company stands for: deploying world-class technology developed in the UAE across industries. He added that the team looks forward to presenting its latest products and showing what applied AI could look like in practice.
That ambition fits neatly into the broader narrative around Make it in the Emirates, which has become a bit of a shop window for homegrown innovation. I remember walking through the halls at a previous edition and feeling, well… I mean, genuinely chuffed to bits seeing local tech holding its own alongside global giants. For many founders in our Arageek community, these moments matter. Visibility can be half the battle.
The company says the new solution, which will be revealed during the event, is designed to redefine how governments and enterprises operate, decide and grow. That’s a bold promise, and I reckon the real test will be in how seamlessly these tools integrate into existing systems. AI can be spot on when it’s embedded properly, but it can also become a bit of a faff if organisations underestimate the cultural shift required.
Inception describes itself as the intelligence layer of the G42 Intelligence Grid, turning data into decisions at national and enterprise scale. In simple terms, it aims to help leaders act with more certainty by putting AI at the centre of operations rather than treating it as an add-on.
On the flip side, events like this are not only about polished demos. They’re also about sending a signal: that the UAE seriously wants to anchor advanced technologies within its own borders and export them outward. And believe it or not, that shift from being a tech consumer to a creator is still a relatively recent pheonomenon in the region.
As the exhibition doors open in May, all eyes will be on Hall 8 to see whether Inception’s latest reveal lives up to the buzz. Either way, its presence underlines how firmly AI has moved from research labs into the mainstream of industrial strategy, not just globally but right here in the Emirates.
