Saudi edtech startup iSchool has officially acquired SEEDS, the educational branch of tech firm Algoriza, in a move set to ramp up its presence across Saudi Arabia's booming market.

The deal is expected to pave the way for some innovative programmes that teach artificial intelligence and programming, specially tailored for employees' children as part of progressive employee perks. I'm particularly chuffed about this sort of thinking, as it cleverly merges HR benefits with quality education—exactly the kind of fresh ideas we at Arageek love to see bubbling up across the MENA ecosystem.

The acquisition gives iSchool immediate access—almost a shortcut—to the operational infrastructure and existing networks SEEDS has painstakingly established.
