Nutanix has confirmed it will be back at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai this October, and it’s planning to make quite the statement with its new “One Platform” theme. The company – known for its hybrid multicloud solutions – says the concept is all about giving businesses a unified, fuss-free way to run apps, data, and AI wherever they like, whether that’s on-premises, in the cloud, or at the edge.
Mohammad Abulhouf, Nutanix’s Vice President and General Manager for the Middle East and Africa, put it plainly: the aim is to give enterprises proper flexibility and freedom from vendor lock-in. His words echoed what I often hear from startup founders we meet through Arageek – when you’re scaling fast, you don’t want your tech choices tying you down. “Our vision for One Platform reflects our commitment to customer choice,” he said, noting that Nutanix builds for simplicity and resilience across hybrid and multicloud setups.
At the Dubai event, Nutanix will show off its full stack through five demo pods. Top of the agenda is security – a must these days. The firm is pushing zero-trust architecture, with built‑in compliance tools, automated governance, and the kind of ransomware protection that helps companies sleep at night. It’s an approach clearly tuned to the region’s current climate: data growth is rocketing, and AI adoption isn’t slowing down any time soon.
With AI moving from buzzword to boardroom strategy across the Middle East, Nutanix reckons it’s well placed to give companies the robust infrastructure they need for these data‑hungry models. That includes a focus on scalability, security, and yes – hybrid cloud flexibility again. And with the Gulf’s ongoing data centre boom, it seems the timing’s spot on.
What caught my eye, though, is the way Nutanix keeps championing partnerships. At GITEX, the company will host big-name allies including Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA. To be honest, building that kind of ecosystem is half the battle won in this industry. On the channel side, Nutanix will also highlight updates to its Elevate Partner Program – the one CRN keeps giving five‑star ratings. A new “Premier Partner” tier is on the cards too, recognising standout collaboration and investment.
Shaista Ahmed, who heads Channel and Ecosystem across the region, sounded pretty chuffed when describing their approach. She pointed out that Nutanix’s culture is rooted in trust, not just fancy features. “Our message at GITEX is clear: Nutanix is the most profitable, reliable, and future‑proof partner for the hybrid multicloud era,” she said.
Visitors can find Nutanix in Hall 6, Stand C10, from 13–17 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. If last year’s buzz is anything to go by, expect a crowd and a fair bit of excitement (and possibly, a bit of a faff around the demo zones). But then again, that’s GITEX for you – equal parts chaos and innovation. I reckon Nutanix’s “One Platform” message will resonate, especially with enterprises hunting for simplicity in a world of sprawling tech.
And just between us, seeing global tech powerhouses commit this seriously to the region always gives me a small sense of pride. The MENA ecosystem has come a long way, and, well… it’s definately just getting started.
