Egypt’s Simplex is investing $13 million to build a new CNC (Computer Numerical Control) factory.

The facility will be set on 20,000 square meters in Riyadh.

The project stems from a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Development Center.

Operations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The plan supports Vision 2030, aiming to boost economic diversification and create jobs in advanced manufacturing.

In a significant stride toward expanding its footprint in the Middle East, Simplex—an Egyptian industrial solutions company—has revealed plans to invest $13 million in a state-of-the-art CNC factory in Riyadh. This initiative is backed by a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Kingdom’s National Industrial Development Center, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to nurturing local manufacturing and advanced industries.

Set to occupy 20,000 square meters in the heart of Riyadh, the facility is slated to kick off operations by the first quarter of 2026. Although final production capacities are still under review, Simplex Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Mohamed Mansour expressed optimism about the venture’s impact, noting, “We are working on innovative products that meet our clients’ evolving needs, and we hope this factory strengthens the Kingdom’s position as a regional industrial hub.”

By focusing on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology, Simplex aims to cater to a variety of sectors—from automotive parts to high-precision components for healthcare equipment. The company also hopes its expansion will spark local talent development, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to the Kingdom’s non-oil export capabilities.
