7X and Abu Dhabi’s TAMM Unite to Revolutionise Digital Services Integration

7X and Abu Dhabi’s TAMM are collaborating to enhance digital service accessibility.
WAYN, the UAE’s Digital P O Box, will be integrated into the TAMM platform for secure correspondence.
The partnership aims to improve logistics by integrating NXN’s services into TAMM’s infrastructure.
TAMM might also employ 7X's EMX for more efficient last-mile delivery operations.
This collaboration supports Abu Dhabi’s goal of becoming a leader in digital governance.
It’s not every day that a logistics powerhouse joins hands with a government platform to reshape how people use digital services, but that’s exactly what’s happening in Abu Dhabi. The trade, transport, and logistics group 7X has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Government Enablement—represented by TAMM, the emirate’s single access point for government services—to push forward digital transformation and service accessibility in the capital.
At the heart of the partnership is the integration of WAYN, the UAE’s Digital P.O. Box, into the TAMM platform. In simple terms, this means individuals and companies will be able to receive secure correspondence only from verified entities. No more drowning in spam or worrying about fraud attempts—WAYN’s design makes sure of that. Plus, there’s a clever archiving and categorisation system tucked inside, which helps users locate their messages and documents in a flash.
When I first heard about this move, it reminded me of all those late-night chats we’ve had at Arageek about how entrepreneurs in the region struggle with fragmented digital systems. A unified digital identity feels, well… spot on. Of course, tech adoption can be a bit of a faff at first, but once the dust settles, the convenience usually speaks for itself.
The MoU was formalised in the presence of senior officials from both sides and represents more than just a symbolic handshake. Both institutions plan to explore deeper collaboration, including ways to integrate the services of the National Network for Logistics (NXN) into TAMM’s infrastructure. That covers digital postal, parcel delivery, and tracking services, as well as connecting TAMM customer service centres to NXN branches across Abu Dhabi.
There’s another layer to this, too. TAMM is also considering using EMX—the logistics arm of 7X—for its last-mile delivery operations. If that comes to pass, it could mean more efficient and reliable deliveries for residents and businesses alike. Anyone who’s ever waited days for a lost parcel knows just how valuable that is.
Tariq Al Wahedi, the Group CEO of 7X, called the collaboration a “pivotal milestone” towards advancing smart digital services and cementing postal and courier systems as vital pillars in both public and private ecosystems. He highlighted that WAYN gives users a secure, verified digital address that can be tapped any time, from anywhere—definately a bold leap towards an integrated digital lifestyle.
Meanwhile, H.E. Dr Mohammed Abdul Hamid Al Askar, Director General of TAMM, noted that the partnership reflects a shared mission to boost Abu Dhabi’s digital infrastructure, offering residents smarter, more seamless services. He framed it as part of the UAE’s wider ambition to stand as a global leader in digital governance and service innovation.
I reckon this alliance points to a future where government services and commercial logistics won’t just coexist—they’ll intertwine smoothly to make everyday interactions simpler and safer. And believe it or not, that’s exactly the kind of synergy that keeps the region’s digital ecosystem buzzing.
