Saudi Arabia is taking another major step towards solidifying its status as a global digital hub. Amanah Group, a leading regional construction and design firm, has joined forces with Al Moammar Information Systems (MIS), a key player in IT solutions, to develop state-of-the-art, sustainable data centers. The strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) was officially signed at LEAP 2025, one of the largest technology conferences in the region.

With the kingdom rapidly embracing artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and enterprise digitalization, the demand for scalable and energy-efficient data centers is on the rise. This collaboration leverages Amanah’s expertise in advanced construction and MIS’s leadership in IT infrastructure to create data centers that meet high environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.

Speaking about the initiative, Richard Aboud, CEO of Amanah Group, highlighted the increasing need for robust digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. “The kingdom’s digital economy is expanding at an unprecedented pace, creating a surge in demand for high-performance data centers. Our track record in industrial and specialized projects, combined with innovative energy-efficient construction methods, ensures that we can meet this demand effectively. Through our partnership with MIS, we are committed to delivering cutting-edge data centers that align with Saudi Arabia’s sustainability agenda under Vision 2030,” Aboud stated.

Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, CEO of MIS, emphasized the critical role of modern data centers in supporting AI, cloud solutions, and digital transformation efforts, Al-Ghamdi explained:
