Funds will develop "Agentic AI" to enhance marketing campaigns and reduce carbon footprints.
This AI uses four virtual agents to manage and optimise marketing strategies in real-time.
The platform has already been tested in multiple sectors, beyond just marketing.
Climaty aims to expand globally, avoiding "pilot purgatory" in international markets.
Climaty AI, a young startup based in the UAE, has just pulled in $2 million in early-stage funding. The round was led by Turbostart alongside a group of seasoned AI experts and angel investors. Not bad going for a company barely out of the gates, eh?
The fresh capital is earmarked for developing what Climaty calls its *Agentic AI* model – essentially an intelligent marketing system meant to supercharge campaign performance while trimming down the carbon footprint. The idea is that campaigns won’t just become smarter, they’ll also be greener. I reckon that’s a timely move, given how sustainability is no longer just a buzzword but something customers and brands are starting to demand.
Here’s the clever bit: instead of marketers juggling endless spreadsheets and dashboards (a bit of a faff, if you ask me), Climaty’s AI runs on four virtual “agents”. There’s a Campaign Builder to set the strategy, a Creator to churn out content, an Optimizer to fine-tune things, and Analytics to measure progress. It all runs in real time with human oversight, so businesses don’t feel like they’ve handed the keys to a black box. From my own chats with founders in the region, I know that transparency is becoming as valuable as efficiency.
What’s interesting is that the platform has already been tested beyond marketing. Sectors like edtech, healthcare, automotive and consumer goods have all had a taste. On the flip side, the big question is how quickly Climaty can scale outside the UAE and keep pace with bigger global players – because competition in AI-driven marketing tools is fierce, to say the least.
At Arageek, we often hear entrepreneurs worrying about being stuck in “pilot purgatory” – testing a great tool in one or two markets but struggling to break out wider. Climaty seems determined not to fall into that trap, and you can sense they’re chuffed to bits about this momentum. Whether the $2 million is enough to fuel meaningful global expansion is another matter. But honestly, in a region where climate-tech isn’t always front and centre, this definitely feels like a step in the right direction.
And believe it or not, moves like this remind me of a workshop I once sat in on with young founders in Amman. They all complained about heavy manual marketing work dragging them down. If Climaty’s solution lives up to its promise, it could save them hours – and probably a few headaches too. In my book, that’s spot on. Or should I say… definately spot on.
