Dubai’s real estate sector is taking a major leap into the future with the launch of REACH Middle East, a proptech accelerator created through a strategic partnership between the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and REACH, a leading real estate technology accelerator backed by the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

The initiative is set to attract cutting-edge proptech startups to Dubai, providing them with a robust support system that includes mentorship, investment opportunities, regulatory guidance, and access to market insights. By doing so, DLD and REACH aim to drive innovation in property technology, a field that has seen rapid growth in recent years.

His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of DLD, emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “We remain committed to supporting startups in this field and providing them with the right environment to thrive. This will drive the development of innovative and sustainable real estate solutions, further strengthening Dubai’s global leadership in the sector.”

Under the agreement, DLD will play a pivotal role in promoting the accelerator, engaging with investors, and facilitating regulatory processes for participating startups. It will also provide valuable data and insights into Dubai’s real estate market, allowing companies to tailor their solutions to local and regional needs.

Meanwhile, REACH will manage the program’s operations, selecting high-potential startups and offering them investment and mentorship. The organization will also tap into its global network of investors and real estate technology experts, ensuring that the participating startups receive the best possible support.

As part of its commitment to Dubai, REACH will establish a regional office in the emirate, marking its expansion into the Middle East. This move is expected to attract a wave of talent and innovation to Dubai’s real estate ecosystem, further cementing the city’s reputation as a global hub for proptech.
