Well, here's a fresh case in point—Eventocity, an Egyptian platform specialising in events organising and marketing, has announced ambitious plans to expand further across Arab markets and the wider Middle East. And what's their secret weapon, you ask? It's all about the smart use of artificial intelligence.

Speaking to the media platform Entarabi, Eventocity's CEO, Basmala Tarek, explained that they've developed quite an innovative strategy to shift the local landscape for event organisation at grassroots level around Egypt. Partnering with both public and private sectors, they're leveraging AI to give businesses and institutions a fresh approach to conducting events and shaping their marketing strategies. Pretty fascinating stuff, if I do say so myself.

According to Tarek, the company's new game plan isn't mere event-planning—it's about drawing in new customer segments and providing advanced services that go way beyond conferences. She mentions their aim to practically mentor companies on how to fine-tune their products, build better promotions, and ultimately boost their sales figures.

Now, if you're wondering about Eventocity’s track record, it's pretty impressive. Since launching three years ago, Eventocity’s already clocked up 26 notable events. Some of their partnerships include big names like several Egyptian universities and even a Japanese firm through its "Bricks Education" programme. Moreover, they have organised a fair share of graduation ceremonies in collaboration with Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Just to give you a bit more insight into their work, they've partnered with well-known institutes such as Misr University, October 6 University, Shorouk Academy, and the Canadian International University, among others. Eventocity has also been collaborating with the Ministry of Youth and Sport through a programme called "PathFinder" based in Cairo's bustling El-Asmarat district.

But that's not all, folks. They've even gotten involved with the National Institute for Governance—which operates under the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development—to offer valuable development opportunities, like business coaching and training courses specially targeted at young entrepreneurs.

Co-founder Mohamed Walid recently told Entarabi that their programme "Business In" will be hosting its fourth instalment later this month, under the rather catchy title "Automated Training." Apparently, this programme—which runs every six months—has already covered hot topics like artificial intelligence and business optimisation, aiming to empower entrepreneurs and startups through tech.

Returning to the CEO, Basmala Tarek added she sees no limits on Eventocity’s ambitions amidst their recent seed funding round from Edafah Ventures Capital. This latest investment, she says, is all about restructuring the organisation, fine-tuning operations, enhancing branding, and, naturally, expanding into those lucrative Arab markets.

Through their collaboration with Edafah, Eventocity also plans to launch an entrepreneurial training academy aimed at children and young people aged between 10 and 17. Now isn't that an inspiring commitment to nurturing future business leaders?
