HeyBreez Secures $2.5M to Revolutionise Voice AI Infrastructure Across MENA

HeyBreez, a voice AI infrastructure startup founded in Jordan, has secured $2.5 million in an oversubscribed seed round, giving the company fresh backing as it looks to grow across the Middle East and beyond. The round was led by Lunara Partners, with participation from Jabbar Group, DASH Ventures, as well as founders and angel investors.

The startup says the money will go into strengthening its infrastructure, speeding up product development and building out its sales presence in regional and international markets. In plain words, it is not just chasing growth for the sake of it. It is trying to make the machinery behind voice AI work properly, which, I reckon, is often the bit people ignore until it becomes a real headache.

Founded in 2025 by Karim Malhas, HeyBreez is building tools for enterprises, agencies, developers and AI companies that deploy voice agents in customer service, sales and day-to-day operations. Rather than focusing only on the conversation between a business and a customer, the platform handles everything around that interaction too — retries, callbacks, follow-ups, branching journeys, telephony and integrations. That may sound a bit technical, but the idea is fairly spot on: making sure voice systems do not just speak, but also function reliably in the background.

Malhas put it quite directly, saying: “Everyone in this market helped companies make the call. No one helped them run the operation behind it. That is the hard part, and what we built for from day one.” He added that the new round will help put HeyBreez “in front of all the teams needing it and asking for it.”

The company supports multilingual voice workloads in sectors including banking, healthcare, logistics, hospitality and customer experience. In MENA, the focus is especially on rising demand for Arabic-language voice automation, along with pressure from businesses and institutions around data residency and sovereign cloud infrastructure. That said, this is where things get interesting. Arabic voice systems are not just another feature to tick off a list; they are still hard to get right at scale, especially when local compliance rules enter the picture.

HeyBreez is headquartered in the US, with offices in Amman and Dubai, and says its platform is already running across MENA, Europe, the US and Latin America. Together, the setup combines language models and infrastructure to deliver real-time Arabic voice systems at scale, targeting contact centres, public services and digital platforms.

On the flip side, the voice AI market is becoming crowded very fast, and not every startup with a clever promise can turn that into dependable enterprise adoption. But HeyBreez seems to be trying to solve the messy operational layer, not only the flashy front end. In this market, that is definately not a bad place to be.
