Majid Al Futtaim has launched its SHARE rewards app in Saudi Arabia.

Flexible payments, including Buy Now, Pay Later, feature at launch.
The move highlights growing investment in data, personalisation and digital infrastructure.
Majid Al Futtaim has rolled out its flagship rewards programme, SHARE, in Saudi Arabia, marking another step in the group’s steady digital expansion across the region. The launch brings the company’s loyalty ecosystem to one of MENA’s most tech-savvy and fast-moving consumer markets.
In simple terms, SHARE is designed as a one-stop digital hub. Through a single app, customers can earn and redeem points while shopping, dining or heading out for entertainment across Majid Al Futtaim’s brands. It connects everything into one journey, rather than scattering rewards across different schemes, which, let’s be honest, can be a bit of a faff.
In Saudi Arabia, SHARE members can collect and spend points at brands including Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet, AllSaints, lululemon, THAT Concept Store, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister and Crate & Barrel, among others. At launch, the programme covers more than 65 brands and over 15 retail destinations. That’s already sizeable, and it is expected to grow further.
Darren Taylor, SVP of SHARE Rewards and Customer Solutions at Majid Al Futtaim, said the platform has evolved far beyond a traditional loyalty scheme. He described it as a “digital destination” that brings together brands, services and experiences into one connected ecosystem. According to Taylor, expanding into Saudi Arabia is a key move to create everyday value, increase personalisation and build long-term customer relationships. More features, he noted, will continue to roll out as the platform develops.
The app allows users to access a digital SHARE ID to earn points instantly at participating outlets. Customers can also upload receipts from thousands of stores and restaurants across Majid Al Futtaim’s destinations. There’s no need for a physical card; everything sits neatly in the app. You earn, you track, you redeem, simple.
It’s worth noticing that flexible payment options are part of the Saudi debut, including Buy Now, Pay Later through Tabby. That feels particularly relevant in a market where alternative payments are gaining serious traction. And believe it or not, the roadmap does not stop there. Plans for 2026 include raffles, tiered membership benefits, cross-market point exchanges, affiliate partnerships, gift cards and even a co-branded credit card.
From where I stand, loyalty in retail can sometimes feel a bit overhyped. Not every rewards app is spot on. But when ecosystems genuinely connect shopping, entertainment and payments in one place, that’s when it begins to make sense. I’ve seen across the MENA startup scene how consumers are leaning into integrated digital experiences, and Saudi is definitely ahead of the curve.
For the wider regional ecosystem, this move signals more than just a new app launch. It reflects how established retail giants are investing heavily in data, personalisation and digital infrastructure to stay competitive in markets where customer expectations are rising fast. Startups watching this space might take note: building communities around value, not just transactions, seems to be the direction of travel.
Today, SHARE serves millions of members across the region. With Saudi Arabia now in the mix, Majid Al Futtaim is reinforcing its ambition to blend commerce, loyalty and payments into a single platform. Customers in the Kingdom can download the app via the App Store or Google Play and start earning points immediatly.
If anything, this launch underlines how traditional retail groups in MENA are becoming tech-driven ecosystems in their own right. And in a region where digital adoption moves at lightning speed, standing still is simply not an option.
