ThinkProp Venture has launched the UAE’s first property-focused AI Academy.

It promises “performance-driven enablement”, not just theory-heavy classroom training.

Courses blend local market needs with global certifications through AI CERTs®.

Over 100 professionals will train initially, with GCC expansion planned.

Backed by regulators, it aims to boost real AI readiness.

The UAE’s real estate sector has never been shy of buzzwords. Digital twin. Tokenisation. Smart contracts. And, of course, AI. But every now and then, something more tangible appears.

This week in Abu Dhabi, ThinkProp Venture, the real estate training arm of Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES), with operations in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, announced the launch of ThinkProp AI Academy. The initiative is being described as the first of its kind in the UAE, focused not just on teaching artificial intelligence theory, but on building measurable, AI-enabled capabilities for property and business professionals.

That distinction matters. We’ve seen plenty of training programmes that look good on paper yet feel, well… a bit of a faff when it comes to real-world use. ThinkProp says its academy moves beyond traditional classroom learning, creating what it calls a structured “enablement system”. In simple terms, AI is embedded throughout the learning journey, from guided simulations to assessments and performance tracking, so participants can see clearly whether they’re actually ready to perform on the job.

The courses have been designed around both local market demands and global best practices. Areas of focus include real estate, sales, marketing, project management, and business operations. Through a partnership with AI CERTs®, participants will also gain internationally recognised certifications, while the content remains tailored to UAE industry requirements. That local-global balance, I reckon, is where many training providers either sink or swim.

Initial plans aim to train more than 100 professionals in the first phase. Course offerings are expected to double before the end of the year, with expansion across the GCC on the horizon, followed by wider Middle East and Chinese markets. Ambitious? Definately. But the appetite for structured AI capability-building in real estate is growing fast, particularly as developers and brokers face pressure to work smarter and cut operational inefficiencies.

Jasem Alhosani, Operations Lead at ThinkProp, described the academy as a move “from knowledge-based training to performance-driven enablement,” adding that the goal is to ensure individuals are ready to perform with full visibility into their readiness, decision-making, and impact in real scenarios.

Moath Maqbol, General Manager of ADRES, framed the launch as part of a broader push towards innovation in the sector. By integrating AI directly into structured learning journeys, he said, professionals are being equipped with the tools needed to navigate an increasingly digital and competitive market.

The credibility angle is also worth noting. ThinkProp is certified by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) and the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi, as well as the Dubai Land Department (DLD). The academy has been developed in collaboration with government and industry stakeholders, reinforcing its institutional backing.

ADRES itself positions as a PropTech venture developer supporting digital transformation, and it is a RESO-certified technology partner for Madhmoun, playing a facilitative role in regional PropTech collaboration. ThinkProp, as part of ADRES, operates as a government-accredited real estate training institute offering approved in-person and online programmes.

For readers who follow Arageek, you’ll know we often speak with founders who say the hardest part of digital transformation is not the tech, it’s the people. I once met a startup founder who told me their AI rollout stalled not because the system failed, but because teams simply didn’t trust or understand it. That always stuck with me.

On the flip side, when training is done properly, with context, simulation, and accountability, adoption becomes much smoother. And believe it or not, in a sector as relationship-driven as real estate, AI literacy can be the difference between staying ahead of the curve or being left playing catch-up.

Whether ThinkProp AI Academy becomes the benchmark for AI training in property remains to be seen. But as the UAE continues to position itself at the forefront of real estate innovation, structured and performance-focused programmes like this could be spot on for where the industry is heading next.
