Trango Tech is expanding across the GCC, with on-the-ground teams in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

New delivery hubs open in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

Local presence helps startups avoid “time zones” and regulatory headaches.

Demand is rising for “feature-rich” apps in fintech, eCommerce, healthcare and logistics.

The firm is betting on regional know-how, bilingual design and long-term partnerships.

Trango Tech is pushing deeper into the Gulf as it expands its mobile app development services across the GCC, with dedicated teams now operating on the ground in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The global technology services company is building out delivery hubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, aiming to stay closer to startups, SMEs and large enterprises that are hungry for more dependable digital tools.

That kind of local presence matters. Anyone who has worked with early-stage founders in the region will tell you that time zones, language support and regulatory know-how can make or break a product launch. I’ve seen more than one promising startup stall simply because their tech partner was miles away, both literally and culturally. So this move feels spot on for a market where speed and trust are everything.

With a long-standing footprint in the UAE, Trango Tech has been positioning itself as a go-to mobile app development company in Dubai, offering tailored solutions that fit both regional realities and global ambitions. On the flip side of the Gulf, its growing teams in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam are helping cement its role in Saudi Arabia, especially as the Kingdom doubles down on digital transformation across the economy.

The expansion comes as demand continues to climb for mobile apps in sectors such as eCommerce, fintech, healthcare, logistics and real estate. According to the company, its focus is on building feature-rich applications that improve user experience and operational efficiency, while still being able to scale as businesses grow. That’s easier said than done, but it’s clearly what many founders in the GCC are looking for right now.

In Abu Dhabi, Trango Tech is also leaning into enterprise-grade work, developing apps with stricter expectations around performance, security and compliance. A notable detail is its emphasis on bilingual interfaces, with support for both Arabic and English, which might sound obvious, yet is often a bit of a faff to implement properly. Done right, however, it can be a real differentiator.

The company offers native iOS and Android apps alongside cross-platform development, designed with local regulations and data security standards in mind. Speaking about the expansion, CEO AsadUllah Khan said the plan is to deliver mobile applications built specifically for the GCC market, supported by teams that understand local regulations, user expectations and long-term growth goals.

I reckon this kind of thinking reflects a broader shift we’ve been watching at Arageek for years now. Startups here are no longer satisfied with one-size-fits-all tech; they want partners who genuinely get the region. Trango Tech seems chuffed to bits to be leaning into that demand, and while competition in the space is fierce, being physically present across key Gulf cities could give it an edge… well, if execution matches ambition, you know?

Having already delivered multiple projects across Android, iOS and cross-platform technologies, the company says it is focused on building long-term partnerships across the GCC. Frankly, I’m not a fan of flashy expansion announcements without substance, but this one comes with concrete locations and teams on the ground, which definately counts for something in this market.
