The UAE-based artificial intelligence startup, AIREV, has bagged fresh investment from Venturewave Capital as part of its recent Series A funding round. This latest financial boost is set to fuel AIREV's growth ambitions as it looks to roll out its flagship AI operating system, known as On-Demand, on an even bigger scale across international markets.
Founded in 2023, the young Emirati venture has quickly built a reputation for itself with its innovative AI platform, On-Demand. This system has become one of the first operating systems developed completely around artificial intelligence. What makes On-Demand stand out is the way it lets users whip up tailor-made AI applications, harnessing the power of sophisticated large language models alongside various advanced tools and smart agents. It's proved pretty popular too, already counting more than four million users globally.
The startup has also attracted attention from major players in the industry, with support from Core42—a subsidiary of the UAE-based tech giants G42. On top of this, AIREV has struck promising commercial partnerships with the likes of Panchea and AIdeology, and rumours are buzzing that it’s currently chatting with several Fortune 500 semiconductor firms.
One impressive feature of this platform is its ability to tap into multiple AI models, utilising cutting-edge tools developed by tech heavyweights such as Google, Meta, OpenAI, and even the Arabic-specialised language model Jais. On-Demand also plays well with some of the business world's most widely-used enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems—including Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics.
But AIREV isn't putting all its eggs into the On-Demand basket—it's got a few other clever endeavours underway. A prime example is School Hack, an AI-driven educational platform that's quickly become a favourite with students hungry for new ways to absorb information.
Given how swiftly the appetite for artificial intelligence solutions has grown, it's hardly surprising investors are eager to snap up early opportunities like AIREV. This latest boost from Venturewave Capital offers the firm a clear runway, allowing them to scale faster and position themselves firmly on the global AI map.
What's striking about AIREV is the speed with which things have taken off. Founded just this year by Muhammad Khalid, Youssef Youssef, and Kayaan K. Unwalla, they seem to have caught the attention—and the wallets—of the investment community at lightning speed.
So watch this space—because AIREV looks set to be a name we'll keep hearing about in tech circles for quite a while to come. And who knows, Arageek readers, perhaps in a few years' time, we'll all be casually building AI-driven apps over our morning cuppa without even realising it.
