Ooredoo Kuwait partners with LuLu Hypermarket to boost its Nojoom loyalty programme.

This collaboration enables customers to earn and redeem Nojoom points at LuLu stores in Kuwait.

Nojoom, Kuwait’s largest digital loyalty app, connects over 300 brands with thousands of users monthly.

The partnership aims to enhance value, simplify life, and support tech-enabled lifestyle solutions.

It also aligns with Ooredoo’s goals for sustainability and community engagement.

There's a new partnership on the cards in Kuwait, and I reckon shoppers are going to be pretty chuffed about this one. Ooredoo Kuwait has teamed up with retail giant LuLu Hypermarket, aiming to give its widely popular Nojoom loyalty programme a proper boost.

With this collaboration, customers will now find it a doddle to earn and redeem Nojoom points at any LuLu store across Kuwait. So, picking up your weekly shop, or even those late-night snack runs (we've all been there, right?), can become a rewarding experience. No more faffing about with rewards cards across numerous stores—everything seamlessly links back to one handy loyalty scheme.

Launched back in 2014, Nojoom has come a long way and currently boasts hundreds of thousands of active users each month. It’s already Kuwait’s biggest digital loyalty app, with more than 300 popular brands covering everything from restaurants and wellness centres to electronics and trendy fashion labels. Nojoom hasn’t gone unnoticed, either. It's been scooping up awards left, right, and centre, including Best Loyalty Program at the GCC Customer Experience Awards and Most Engaging Loyalty Platform at the MENA Digital Innovation Summit.

According to Tapan Tripathi, Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo Kuwait, the deal is designed to make everyday life a little simpler and more rewarding. Speaking recently, Tripathi noted, \"We're proud to welcome LuLu Hypermarket into our ever-expanding Nojoom family. This partnership enhances our loyalty programme’s value and delivers relevant, tech-enabled lifestyle solutions aligned with our users’ daily needs.\"

Mohamed Haris, Director of LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, sounded equally enthusiastic about the collaboration. “Partnering with Ooredoo through Nojoom allows us to reward customers in meaningful ways and strengthens our community connection,” he observed. “Together, we aim to provide even greater value and convenience across Kuwait.”

I can't help but notice how neatly this partnership fits into Ooredoo’s broader goals around sustainability and community engagement. Arageek readers familiar with the startup scene across MENA will appreciate this approach; after all, it's not just about points but building loyalty through genuine value for customers.

Still, it'll be intresting to watch if shoppers embrace the programme as enthusiastically as the brands hope. But considering the convenience factor alone, I reckon it’s a pretty spot on move.
