Fund's support amplifies Bolsterup's ambitions to transform industry networking and partnerships.

Bolsterup, a Cyprus-based startup, has secured EUR 500,000 (around USD 551,000) in funding from an investment round spearheaded by European venture capital fund Uni.Fund. With this new injection of funds, the company is eager to expand its horizons, taking its innovative AI-powered business to the UAE and the broader Middle East market.

Bolsterup, if you haven't yet heard of them on Arageek or elsewhere, is essentially a digital networking platform built exclusively for folks in the construction industry. They've taken matchmaking in the sector up a notch by using advanced artificial intelligence. The platform works by crunching vast swathes of data—teams, products, partnerships, locations—to deliver carefully tailored recommendations that link supply directly with demand.

Speaking about the investment, Sotiris Papantonopoulos-Mantopoulos, a Partner at Uni.Fund, said, “Bolsterup is transforming how professionals in the construction industry connect, collaborate, and grow.” It certainly feels like an exciting move, providing clearer paths for forming successful alliances and partnerships within an industry traditionally known for its complexities (and, frankly, its messy paperwork).

With the newly raised capital, the startup plans, firstly, to further enhance its AI capabilities, enabling the delivery of more insightful, personalised data analysis, boosting team-formation efficiency, and refining its already impressive matchmaking engine. More importantly, perhaps, Bolsterup has its eyes firmly set on expansion, specifically targeting the UAE market first and then further out across the Middle Eastern region.

From the user's side, whether they're suppliers or buyers, the perks are obvious. Construction buyers will benefit from comprehensive market insights and data analysis, allowing quicker decision-making and potentially saving costs. Suppliers, meanwhile, will have access to clever tools and targeted leads that help secure new business opportunities faster than traditional networking or long-winded pitches.

It’s worth mentioning Uni.Fund here too—a fund with a knack for spotting innovative startups across Europe. Their backing could undoubtedly amplify Bolsterup's ambitions in generating solid business opportunities.

Now, anyone who knows anything about the industry is aware it's crying out for smarter connections and technology-driven solutions. The prospect of Bolsterup's sophisticated AI helping construction professionals network and build strong, effective partnerships is extremely encouraging. For a sector famous for being slow to adopt digital, forward-thinking solutions, it looks like Bolsterup may well have found themselves the perfect opportunity at exactly the right moment.

If this takes off as it promisses, things could get exciting fast. Watch this space.
