Cognizant expands its ServiceNow partnership to boost digital transformation in the Middle East.

Combining industry expertise with AI solutions aims to automate daily processes efficiently.

Their focus is on operational excellence, transparency, and reducing repetitive administrative tasks.

Local insights and ethical standards are key, ensuring sustainable digital innovation and growth.

This collaboration brings momentum to the region’s digital progress, meeting an essential need.

Cognizant, widely known for its work in IT and business operations, has just thrown its hat deeper into the Middle East ring by expanding its ServiceNow partnership across the region. You could say this move is a bit of a game-changer, aiming to accelerate how companies here embrace digital transformation—with a real focus on operational excellence and sharp new efficiencies.

From what’s being set out, Cognizant is combining its own industry expertise with ServiceNow’s much-praised AI business platform. The idea? To bring robust, intelligent solutions to regional enterprises that are either hungry for, or grappling with, automating daily processes. And given the pace at which digital adoption is racing ahead in the MENA markets, this partnership couldn’t be more spot on, at least in my humble opinion.

Maged Wassim, head of Cognizant Middle East, weighed in, mentioning how expanding ServiceNow’s AI platform locally reinforces their aim to make clients more agile and digitally ready for a future that’s changing faster than most of us can keep up with. It’s not just about landing the latest tech, though. The plan involves using local know-how alongside enterprise-grade platforms and targeted innovations, all delivered pretty much at scale—no half measures.

If you’ve ever tried getting multiple departments to sing from the same hymn sheet—be it finance, HR, or operations—you’ll know it’s often a bit of a faff. That’s exactly where this kind of partnership aims to take the sting out of things. By leaning on Cognizant’s global support network and their own digital accelerators, businesses could see more transparency in their operations and shed a lot of repetitive admin. It’s the sort of modernisation I reckon many dream of but rarely pull off.

On the flip side, Saif Mashat, Area Vice President, MEA at ServiceNow, pointed out how this tie-up gives businesses across the Middle East access to ServiceNow’s AI capabilities, delivered with on-the-ground understanding. He credited Cognizant’s keen insight into client needs as a big plus, setting the stage for better transformation initiatives—whether that’s about automating processes or just crafting slicker experiences for customers and employees alike.

One thing I’ve learned, working alongside startups and scale-ups in the region with Arageek, is that sustainable transformation only sticks when it’s underpinned by responsible innovation. Thankfully, this alliance seems to emphasise ethical standards and workforce readiness, so organisations don’t just get new tech for the sake of it—they’re set up to adapt and thrive as the tools themselves evolve. And believe it or not, that’s not always the way partnerships like this unfold.

Of course, those interested in the nitty-gritty of Cognizant’s ServiceNow offerings can dig deeper through the official channels if they fancy. But from where I’m standing, this development adds real momentum to digital progress in the Middle East—something that, as anyone in the entrepreneurship ecosystem can tell you, is both overdue and absolutely essential.

All things considered, while I’m not always convinced by grand technology partnerships—sometimes they promise the moon but deliver a paper aeroplane—this one looks built on solid ground. Let’s just hope it doesn’t all get lost in translation once the real work begins.
