com taps into a network across 85 countries, benefiting from extensive partnerships.

The challenge remains user adoption, but it aims to transform regional insurance purchasing habits.

Chedid Capital has breathed new life into its digital insurance aggregator in Lebanon, giving Compare360.com a crisp new look and sharper capabilities. The relaunch isn’t just cosmetic—it signals a stronger push into the local market and builds on the company’s earlier success in the UAE and Lebanon, where it has already chalked up more than 100,000 policies sold through third-party providers. Quite the feat for a platform that only debuted in 2023.

At its core, Compare360.com promises shoppers a transparent and easy-to-use platform for comparing and buying insurance online. It lets users pit different offers side by side, from health and car insurance to travel, expat and even pet cover. I reckon that’s a refreshing change in a region where finding the right policy can sometimes feel like, well… a bit of a faff.

Speaking about the relaunch, Marc Sassine, General Manager of Compare360.com, said the company aims to build a full-fledged insurance ecosystem spanning everything from advisory services to digital distribution. He pointed out that while Lebanon’s aggregator space is developing fast, not all players uphold the same standards of transparency and trust. Sassine insisted Compare360.com’s UAE experience gives it a proper edge—taking lessons learned in one of the most dynamic insurance markets in the region and tailoring them to local nuances. Spot on, I’d say.

As part of the Chedid Capital network, which operates across more than 85 countries stretching from Europe to South Asia, Compare360.com can tap into serious know-how and partnerships. The platform collaborates not only with insurers inside the group but also with leading insurance firms outside it, giving consumers a fair shot at choosing what genuinely suits them, minus the bias.

Now that the reboot is complete, Compare360.com seems well placed to plug some of the biggest insurance gaps in Lebanon and, eventually, beyond. On the flip side, the real test will be whether everyday users—many still sceptical about online financial tools—embrace the platform. Still, if you ask me, this could be a turning point for how people in the region shop for protection and peace of mind. And that’s something Arageek has always championed: helping startups and innovators prove that digital transformation isn’t just a buzzword but a bridge to actual empowerment.

So yes, it’s early days yet, but the momentum feels real. If Chedid Capital keeps steering Compare360.com with this mix of local insight and regional muscle, the Lebanese insurance market might just see a new chapter unfold—one that’s leaner, fairer and, dare I say, definately overdue.
