EasyWill teams up with REELLY AI to bring estate planning into property deals.

New UAE inheritance rules mean assets without heirs could become a “charitable endowment”.

Will registrations topped 11,000 in 2025, more than double 2024’s figure.

Over 60,000 agents can now offer digital, compliant wills fully online.

As the market matures, agents shift from dealmakers to “trusted advisers”.

In a move that reflects how fast the UAE’s property market is maturing, EasyWill has teamed up with REELLY AI to help real estate agents add estate planning to their toolkit. On the surface, it may sound like an unusual pairing, wills and PropTech under one roof, but dig a little deeper and it starts to make perfect sense.

The timing is not случайно. Recent updates to inheritance regulations in the UAE have sharpened attention around what happens to assets when there is no registered heir. Under rules introduced in January 2026, financial assets located in the country and owned by expatriates without registered heirs may be designated as a charitable endowment. In simple terms, if you have not sorted your paperwork, the consequences could be serious.

And people are clearly paying attention. According to figures from the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), more than 11,000 wills were registered in 2025 alone, more than double the number recorded in 2024. That brings the total number of registered wills in the UAE to over 21,000. For a country with a large expatriate population and a property-driven investment culture, that spike says a lot.

I have seen over the years, especially speaking with founders and early employees across the MENA region, that estate planning is often treated as a bit of a faff, something to deal with “later”. But later can come quickly. And believe it or not, many property investors still assume their home country rules will automatically apply here. That’s not always the case.

This is where the new partnership steps in. EasyWill, which positions itself as the UAE’s first fully digital, AI-powered platform for will creation and registration, will now be accessible to more than 60,000 real estate agents through REELLY AI’s network. Agents will get direct access to the platform at a special cost, allowing them to help clients draft and register compliant wills entirely online, in several languages, and from anywhere in the world.

For expatriates managing assets across borders, that flexibility is spot on. The process includes certified Arabic translation and registration in line with UAE federal law through ADJD, without the need for in-person visits. In a country where schedules move at lightning speed, removing paperwork hurdles can be a game changer.

Alessandro Console, Co-founder and CEO of EasyWill, said the partnership is about helping agents add meaningful value at a crucial time. He noted that services like this allow brokers to protect long-term client relationships and show genuine care for their clients’ security and peace of mind, rather than focusing only on transactions.

On the flip side, REELLY AI strengthens its ecosystem beyond pure sales tools. The platform already connects over 60,000 agents with developers across the UAE and internationally, offering AI-driven tools for branded presentations and access to insights across more than 1,350 real estate projects. With nearly 95% of UAE property transactions driven by agents, that’s no small network.

Vitalii Ryzhak, Co-founder and CEO of REELLY AI, said the collaboration equips agents with more than just sales capabilities. As the UAE market matures, he pointed out, trust and long-term relationships are becoming central. Enabling estate planning solutions, he added, helps agents build deeper credibility while addressing a clear need among investors.

I reckon this signals a broader shift. Real estate agents in the UAE are no longer just dealmakers; they are edging into advisory roles that stretch into finance, legacy and long-term planning. Not everyone will welcome that expansion, and I’m not always a fan of piling too many expectations onto one profession, but in an increasingly complex market, clients may actually want that one-stop, trusted adviser.

The partnership is already live, and REELLY agents can begin offering EasyWill’s services straight away. For a market navigating regulatory updates and global economic uncertainty, the message is clear: sorting out succession planning is no longer optional. It’s becoming part of the mainstream property conversation, and, honestly, that shift was probably overdue.
