First Driving Center partners with Zero&One to establish a cloud-native digital ecosystem.

The initiative fully integrates training tools and systems via Amazon Web Services from the start.

Zero&One will provide round-the-clock operational support and next-generation infrastructure expertise.

The collaboration aligns with UAE's goals to revamp mobility and urban safety through digital systems.

This could redefine tech integration in road safety education across the region.

At this year’s lively GITEX Global 2025 event in Dubai — where half the city seems to buzz about emerging tech — First Driving Center (FDC), a new venture under First Security Group L.L.C., struck an MoU with Zero&One, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner. The two are teaming up to build what they’re calling a “fully cloud-native digital ecosystem,” powered entirely by Amazon Web Services.

In more practical terms, the deal means FDC will have its backbone firmly set in the cloud from day one. That’s a bold move for a company still gearing up for its official launch, but it speaks volumes about how seriously the UAE takes its digital transformation goals. Everything, from training simulators to cash kiosks and the Odoo-based ERP system, will be seamlessly connected through AWS tools.

I reckon that’s quite spot on — after all, when tech runs smoothly, learners and staff get to skip the endless faff that usually comes with outdated local servers. Zero&One, for its part, brings expertise in automation and next-gen infrastructure, promising round-the-clock operational support.

Eshan Walia, FDC’s CTO, put it neatly when he said the partnership goes beyond building a traditional driving school. It’s about crafting an entire experience built around innovation and safety — a smart driving ecosystem rather than just a centre with classrooms. And believe it or not, this aligns perfectly with the UAE’s ongoing efforts to reshape mobility and urban safety through advanced digital systems.

From the look of things, this tie-up might be a glimpse of what’s next for similar institutions across the region. That said, the proof will be in the execution — cloud foundations sound brilliant on paper, but managing them day to day can be a bit of a juggling act. Still, you can’t help but feel chuffed to bits seeing regional firms take such a forward-thinking path.

At Arageek, we’ve often met founders who say digital overhauls like this felt daunting at first… until everything clicked into place and operations became almost effortless. If FDC can pull that off, it might just set a new standard for how tech and road safety intersect in the UAE’s innovation landscape.

One thing’s for sure: partnerships like these keep the engine of smart development running — and in this case, quite literally. Now that’s what I call driving into the future (definately with both hands on the wheel).
