Flora Shore Beachside Residences on Dubai Islands aims to redefine luxury coastal living.

Co-developed by Calgary Properties and Flora Realty, with OCTA Properties leading sales efforts.

Features include upscale apartments, a marina, retail spots, and numerous lifestyle amenities.

This follows Flora Isle's success, as beachfront properties in Dubai become increasingly scarce.

Dubai Islands offer a blend of luxury, leisure, and island life within the city’s reach.

Dubai’s property scene keeps reinventing itself, and the latest feather in its cap is the launch of Flora Shore Beachside Residences — a sleek 14-storey retreat on the Dubai Islands that aims to redefine coastal living. The project is being co-developed by Calgary Properties and Flora Realty, with OCTA Properties taking the reins on sales and marketing.

At a recent signing ceremony, the three firms sealed their partnership, marking a big step in bringing this new wave of waterfront luxury to life. Scheduled for handover in the third quarter of 2027, Flora Shore will feature a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments overlooking the sea, just a short stroll from the island’s yacht marina and buzzing retail spots.

Azmal Jaleel, Managing Director at Calgary Properties, described the development as more than just a home — “a luxury lifestyle statement,” as he put it. Every detail, from layout to location, seems geared towards serenity without cutting ties to the city’s energy. I must say, the idea of rolling out of bed and straight onto the beach sounds spot on to me.

Flora Realty’s Managing Director, Noordheen Babu, noted that this project follows the success of **Flora Isle**, another Dubai Islands venture that attracted plenty of attention last year. Clearly, the company knows a thing or two about blending style with coastal vibes. Meanwhile, OCTA Properties’ CEO, Fawaz Sous, pointed out that beachfront properties are “becoming increasingly rare” — a fair point, given how quickly prime plots are vanishing these days.

The development isn’t all about glitz; it’s also heavy on lifestyle perks. Residents can expect indoor and outdoor gyms, a yoga retreat corner, kids’ areas, a co-working lounge, an outdoor cinema — the works. It’s as if someone took a wish list from Dubai’s young professionals and families and decided to tick every box.

On the flip side, it raises an interesting question about long-term value. Dubai Islands is still an emerging hub, but if history is anything to go by, early projects in such areas tend to appreciate nicely. I reckon Flora Shore might end up being one of those “I wish I’d bought there” stories in a few years.

Dubai Islands itself sits just off the city’s northern coastline, gracefully combining luxury homes, entertainment venues, and leisure attractions — almost like a mini city with its own rhythm. The whole master plan seems set on offering that laid-back island life without giving up the comforts of Dubai proper.

It’s easy to see why developers keep betting on this area. As someone who’s watched countless launches from Arageek’s side of the table, I can’t help noticing how every new project tries to outdo the last — sometimes a bit of a faff, but it keeps the market lively.

Calgary Properties, a UAE-based developer known for its clean design and community focus, continues to make moves in this space. Flora Realty brings over two decades of local experience, while OCTA Properties, armed with a solid track record in branded residences (think Marriott, Elie Saab, and Missoni), rounds out the trio. That blend of new energy and tested know-how could be what makes Flora Shore stand out.

And believe it or not, developments like this don’t just shape skylines — they shape lifestyles. For anyone dreaming of an address that feels like a permanent holiday, this one might just be worth a second look. Or, as my Emirati friend once put it with a grin, “It’s living by the sea, without leaving the city — what’s not to love, eh?”

So yes, Flora Shore isn’t just another shiny tower; it’s a sign that Dubai’s island ambitions are far from slowing down. Whether it’s a smart move or just another roll of the dice in the ever-competitive real estate market... well, time will definately tell.
