General Assembly Bahrain has renewed its partnership with Diwan Hub to boost local tech talent.
Fatima Ebrahim and Ahlam Oun signed the agreement to upskill Bahrainās workforce effectively.
Diwan Hub provides space and support, enhancing General Assemblyās practical skills training programs.
The collaboration focuses on equipping locals for success in the digital economy through various initiatives.
Both institutions are committed to shaping a digitally skilled future for Bahrain.
When General Assembly Bahrain announced they've renewed their partnership with Diwan Hub, I thought, "Now hereās a match made in startup heaven!" Two major players, joining forces again to boost the local tech talent sceneāwhatās not to like?
The recent renewal agreement, inked by Fatima Ebrahim from Diwan Hub and Ahlam Oun from General Assembly Bahrain, signals their long-standing shared vision to nurture Bahraini entrepreneurs and upskill the local workforce. And believe it or not, since the partnership kicked off, Diwan Hub has been a real stalwartāgenerously providing the space and ongoing community support that General Assembly needs to connect students and professionals with meaningful opportunities.
According to Fatima Ebrahim, General Manager at Diwan Hub, it's all about future-proofing the workforce. She recently emphasised their excitement for the renewal, "We've always believed in what General Assembly is doing. It has been a key player in equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in todayās digital economy. The energy, impact, and quality of programmes they bring to Diwanās community have been inspiring. Renewing this partnership underscores our shared commitment to empowering talent and building a future-ready ecosystem."
Now, I've watched loads of partnerships come and go over the years at Arageek, and not all make sense. But I reckon this one is spot on. General Assembly Bahrain has consistently shown its strength in equipping locals with skills in software engineering, UX design, data analyticsāthe works. Frankly, I'm a fan of how practical their approach is; tangible results like employability and freelance opportunitiesānot just theoretical fluff.
On the flip side, Diwan Hub is no slouch either, with its solid reputation as Bahrainās go-to community hub for entrepreneurs and innovators to collaborate, create and expand their networks. So, both parties realling complement each other wonderfully.
And it seems General Assemblyās Director, Ahlam Oun, shares this enthusiasm, adding: "This partnership enables us to keep opening doors for our students and the broader community. With Diwanās support, we can extend our reach to people at different career stagesāfrom young students to experienced professionals seeking to reskill. We're just getting started."
Through continued events, workshops, and access to vital community programming, General Assembly Bahrain will sustain their efforts to prepare every individualāfrom the curious young student starting out to seasoned workers craving a fresh career changeāfor Bahrainās vibrant digital future.
As the Kingdom pushes hard toward developing a robust digitally skilled economy, this renewed collaboration seems perfectly timed. Itās encouraging to see two institutions deeply committed, not just paying lip service, to shaping the Kingdomās tech-driven aspirations.
With all that in mind, plenty of Bahraini talent can certainly look forward to more exciting and hands-on opportunities in the near future thanks to these two dedicated partnersāa collaboration genuinely worth celebrating.
