Vehere Partners with GSD to Unleash AI-Powered Cybersecurity in the Middle East

Cybersecurity outfit Vehere has just teamed up with Gulf Software Distribution (GSD), aiming to boost its reach in the Middle East by rolling out a cutting-edge AI-powered Network Detection & Response (NDR) solution. It's certainly good news for businesses across the region grappling with ever-evolving cyber threats, which keeping pace with is becoming a bit of a faff.

Under the agreement, GSD—the heavyweight software distributor—will deliver Vehere’s advanced NDR platform in countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and across the Levant. Given how buzzing the region’s cybersecurity scene is becoming, this partnership looks spot on.

If you're not quite au fait with NDR, here's the deal: essentially, it forms a second line of defence after your firewall and end-point protections. Vehere’s system employs an AI-driven approach that allows security teams to rapidly spot and disrupt cyberattacks well…before they spin out of control. Impressive, right?

According to IDC, the global NDR scene is expected to balloon at a compound annual growth rate of 14.1% through 2028, while the EMEA region alone is anticipating a rise of about 12.6%. Clearly, the demand for top-of-the-line cyber defences is only set to grow.

Seemingly equally chuffed about this joint venture, Veerendra Kolla, the Head of Channel Sales at GSD, highlighted how organisations in the region are increasingly prioritising such solutions. "Cyber threats are intensifying and becoming more sophisticated," he said. "Vehere’s powerful threat detection capabilities and deep network insights impressed us, making this partnership a strategic step toward delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to the region."
