Massive news on the AI front today, as Saudi Arabia's brand new artificial intelligence outfit, HUMAIN, revealed it's teaming up with US tech giant AMD in a huge $10 billion joint venture. Their ambitious goal is nothing short of creating one of the most advanced, cost-effective, and open AI infrastructures anywhere on the planet.

Over the next five years, they're planning to deliver a mammoth 500 megawatts worth of AI computing power through a network of data centres stretching from Saudi Arabia right across to the States. In Amin's words, the aim is to "democratise AI computing" and to ensure cutting-edge technology is limited only by people's imagination and not outdated infrustructure.
