Across the UAE in 2025, LINKVIVA had one of those years people still talk about on the walk home. More than 1.5 million people showed up across the country for over 13 large-scale experiences spanning sport, culture, wellness and destination marketing. That’s not small change, and it says a lot about how appetite for shared, public moments has grown here.
I’ve lost count of the number of founders I’ve met around the region who say community is everything, and this felt similar, just on a national scale. From turning Sheikh Zayed Road into a giant running track for Dubai Run to building immersive desert venues like Liwa Village, the agency leaned hard into experiences that people feel, not just attend. The Kayan Wellness Festival, now the region’s largest of its kind, was another standout, especially for anyone who’s watched wellness shift from a niche interest to a mainstream movement.
The events list was long and varied. There was MOTB 2025, including The Bloc developed with Dubai Economy and Tourism; the Fahid Island Watersports Festival presented by Aldar; celebrations hosted by Miral; and the 10th anniversary of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Ongoing activations such as the Fahid Island Wellness Calendar and Saadiyat sales centre events kept things ticking over, alongside mass participation staples like Dubai Run and Dubai Ride. It’s a lot to juggle, and honestly, pulling this off at scale can be a bit of a faff.
Sustainability wasn’t treated as window dressing either. LINKVIVA worked renewable energy into the nuts and bolts of production, partnering with Kilo Energy on mobile power solutions that use solar-supported battery systems. That meant fewer diesel generators humming away and quieter, cleaner event zones. Liwa Village and the Kayan Wellness Festival both used on-site battery storage, waste segregation and low-impact materials, which translated into measurable cuts in fuel use. I reckon this practical approach matters more than glossy promises you know?
Recognition followed. The agency picked up multiple industry shortlists in 2025, with Kayan Wellness Festival winning Best Festival of the Year in the Middle East and earning nods for community impact and experience design. Liwa International Festival was also highlighted for event marketing. Awards aren’t everything, but they do help set a benchmark, and this one felt spot on.
“A powerful experience is one that people feel, not just attend,” said Niousha Ehsan, co-founder and chief energy officer at LINKVIVA, pointing to a focus on collaboration, sustainability and raising the bar for experiential creativity in the UAE. Looking ahead, she added that 2026 is expected to be another defining chapter, with an emphasis on long-term cultural and social value.
For readers around Arageek, this story taps into a familiar thread. We’ve seen time and again how startups and creative agencies across MENA punch above their weight when they connect scale with purpose. On the flip side, not every big event leaves a legacy, but LINKVIVA seems keen to push beyond the moment. If they keep that balance right, the coming year could definately be one to watch.
