Riyadh reaffirmed its status as a global tech powerhouse as the fourth edition of LEAP 2025 concluded with an impressive $14.9 billion in investments across artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure. The landmark event, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham under the theme "Exploring New Horizons," highlighted Saudi Arabia’s growing influence in the global digital economy.
The conference, backed by the unwavering support of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aligns with Vision 2030’s ambition to establish the Kingdom as a leader in technology and AI innovation. LEAP has become a crucial platform for fostering entrepreneurship, accelerating digital transformation, and attracting multinational corporations to Saudi Arabia.
This year’s edition drew over 200,000 visitors, 1,800 companies, and more than 1,000 international speakers. The event also featured 680 startups, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s role as a magnet for innovation and investment. A major highlight was the signing of groundbreaking deals, including a $1.5 billion AI-driven cloud computing partnership between Groq and Aramco Digital. Additionally, a $2 billion joint venture between Saudi company Alat and China’s Lenovo will establish an advanced AI and robotics manufacturing hub.
LEAP 2025 also showcased success stories of startups that leveraged the platform to secure funding and scale rapidly. Saudi startup Ejari, which began with a small booth at LEAP, secured $15 million in investments, growing its team and attracting over $50 million in service requests. Similarly, Data Lexing, which participated in LEAP 2022, has since expanded to serve clients in 10 countries.
Beyond investment deals, LEAP 2025 underscored Saudi Arabia’s strategic role in shaping the future of AI. The event hosted DeepFest, a dedicated AI forum featuring tech giants like IBM and Adobe, alongside leaders from the PGA European Tour, Formula E, and the digital fashion industry.
With its resounding success, LEAP is set to expand its global footprint. Organizers have announced that the conference will host two editions in 2026—one in Riyadh and another in Hong Kong—marking a major step in Saudi Arabia’s journey as a leader in AI, digital transformation, and innovation on a global scale.
