This shift reflects broader regional trends towards digital transformation and efficiency.
Power Mind Inc., the digital arm of Qatar’s Power International Holding, has teamed up with UiPath to supercharge how its businesses run, introducing an automation solution called NeuraBots.ai. Using UiPath’s Agentic AI technology, the initiative is already transforming workflows across the group’s subsidiaries, cutting through old bottlenecks and steering operations toward sharper efficiency and lower costs.
Now, Power International Holding isn’t a small player — its portfolio spans everything from energy to real estate. With such a mixed bag of industries, it’s no surprise the organisation struggled with manual-heavy tasks that slowed things down. Think supplier onboarding, finance approvals, payroll… the kind of tedious, error-prone work most teams would rather not do. I’ve seen similar scenarios across MENA startups we often feature at **Arageek** — the moment automation enters the room, things start to click into place.
Enter NeuraBots.ai, which Power Mind built on UiPath’s platform to blend software robots and AI agents under one digital roof. The result? Over 170 processes automated across different departments. That’s a serious shift towards secure, fast, and scalable operations that can grow without needing to double the workforce.
Jasim Abdul Rahman, Group CIO of Power International Holding and CEO of Power Mind Inc., said they’d been using UiPath effectively for some time but wanted to go a step further. What really excited them, he explained, was the platform’s ability to let humans and AI “work side by side”—a phrase that pretty much sums up the near future of digital transformation in this region. On the UiPath side, Ashraf El Zarka, who oversees the Middle East and Africa region, described the collaboration as proof of what happens when forward-thinking leadership meets the right technology.
And let’s be honest, the timing couldn’t be better. With regional businesses racing to digitise, cutting inefficiencies isn’t just clever—it’s pure survival. I reckon more enterprises will follow suit once they see the kind of productivity PowerMind is squeezing out of this move.
The project’s success hasn’t gone unnoticed either; **NeuraBots.ai** has landed a nomination for the Qatar Digital Business Award 2025 in the “Best AI Solution – Corporate” category. A feather in the cap, really, and well deserved by the looks of it.
Of course, UiPath itself is still one of the big names defining what “agentic automation” actually means—allowing enterprises to trust AI agents to make decisions safely and get things done without constant intervention. Not everyone’s quite ready for that level of autonomy, but the direction is spot on.
I remember chatting with a founder not long ago who said automating his HR systems was a “bit of a faff” at first, but once the kinks were ironed out, he couldn’t imagine going back. It’s much the same with these large-scale implementations: a few headaches early on, then measurable gains that make the effort worthwhile.
So yes, while AI might still give some executives the jitters, seeing success stories like PowerMind’s makes the shift feel more real and, well… definately inevitable.
