Riyadh Air partners with Saudi brand Kayanee to offer bespoke amenities on long-haul flights.

Amenity kits will feature Kayanee skincare, while loungewear is designed for comfort and style.

Premium Economy passengers will also enjoy special tops, enhancing their travel experience.

This collaboration aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, showcasing local enterprise and innovation at 30,000 feet.

Riyadh Air aims to connect over 100 destinations by 2030, promoting Saudi creativity globally.

Riyadh Air is teaming up with Kayanee, the Saudi wellbeing brand that’s been making waves since 2023, to add a bit of homegrown sophistication to its long-haul flights. The partnership will see the airline introduce bespoke amenity kits and loungewear designed by Kayanee for its Business Elite, Business, and Premium Economy travellers — a classy touch that’s bound to get people talking.

From what’s been shared, the kits will include a neat assortment of Kayanee skincare pieces — think hydrating face creams, soothing lip balms, and nourishing hand lotions — with Business and Business Elite passengers also scoring a pulse point oil and facial mist. The loungewear, too, is purpose-built for comfort (and style), with fabric soft enough to make you ditch your own jumper mid-flight.

Now, what really caught my eye is that Riyadh Air isn’t stopping at its top-tier guests. Premium Economy passengers will also get their very own Kayanee-designed tops, making them part of an experience usually reserved for the upper end of the cabin. As someone who’s spent enough time bouncing between MENA airports, I reckon this move is spot on — it’s high time more airlines reimagined what comfort actually means beyond champagne service.

Osamah Alnuaiser, Riyadh Air’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communication, mentioned that the airline takes pride in partnering with a Saudi luxury label to “challenge the expectations” of what travel from the Kingdom could look like. And honestly, it’s a clever play. It adds a layer of Saudi creativity right where the world can’t miss it — at 30,000 feet.

Kayanee’s Chief Commercial Officer, Shen Sivananthan, described the brand’s philosophy as one that “nurtures the soul through balance and empowerment.” That might sound a tad poetic for an airline kit, but then again, wellness travel is booming, and airlines everywhere are trying to tap into that sweet spot between luxury and mindfulness.

Riyadh Air, a Public Investment Fund-backed company, plans to begin flying in 2025, with ambitions to connect over 100 global destinations by 2030. For Kayanee, whose core mission revolves around helping women find balance and confidence through wellness and lifestyle design, the partnership brings its message to a global audience — and then some.

It’s easy to see this as more than just an in-flight collaboration. It’s a reflection of Vision 2030 coming to life — boosting local enterprise, showcasing Saudi innovation, and proving that “Made in Saudi” isn’t just a label but a statement of quality and creativity.

And believe it or not, these kinds of tie-ups can make all the difference in how passengers perceive a country’s brand abroad. When comfort meets culture, you’re not just flying; you’re telling a story. At Arageek, we’ve always believed small innovations like this can empower entire industries. Sure, it’s just loungewear and hand cream on the surface — but beneath that, it’s a sign that Saudi’s startup spirit is taking off too… quite literally.

I’m not a fan of overhyping partnerships, but this one feels genuinely thoughtful. And if the loungewear is as comfortable as they claim, travellers might just be chuffed to bits come arrival. (Though finding space for yet another tote bag in my cupboard might be a bit of a faff, you know?)

All in all, Riyadh Air and Kayanee are crafting more than an amenity kit — they’re stitching Saudi creativity into the everyday rhythm of global travel. And that’s definately a journey worth watching.
