UAE-based Dubizzle Group has announced its acquisition of Egypt’s Hatla2ee, a prominent online platform for buying and selling cars. The move is part of Dubizzle’s ongoing strategy to expand its digital presence in the automotive sector across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Hatla2ee, founded in 2016, has grown into Egypt’s go-to marketplace for both new and used cars, offering a seamless experience for buyers and sellers. With over two million monthly users on its website and mobile app, the platform provides various services, including vehicle valuation, financing options, and real-time market price insights.
By integrating Hatla2ee into its ecosystem, Dubizzle aims to leverage its technological expertise to enhance the platform’s functionality. This acquisition aligns with Dubizzle’s broader vision of streamlining the car-buying experience in the region through innovation and digital transformation.
Commenting on the acquisition, Haroon Rashid, CEO of Dubizzle Egypt, highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding its automotive services and providing a more efficient, technology-driven experience for Egyptian consumers.
The deal marks another milestone for Dubizzle, which operates leading online classifieds platforms such as Dubizzle, Bayut, and Drive Arabia. As competition in the digital automotive space intensifies, this acquisition strengthens Dubizzle’s position as a dominant player in the market.
