Keep Converting raised $2 million pre-seed after emerging from stealth this year.

Its platform makes product pages more personal, changing by visitor, source and intent.

The startup reports a 64% uplift in conversion rates across clients.

Founders say AI will not “kill the merchant website” but make pages “speak” better.

The funding will grow engineering, onboard merchants, and sharpen cross-client AI learning.

UAE-based startup Keep Converting has raised $2 million in a pre-seed round led by Nuwa Capital and COTU Ventures, as it comes out of stealth with a plan to make e-commerce product pages far more personal for each shopper.

The company, founded in 2025 by Mohammad El Mougi and Manuel Prinz, is building what it describes as an AI-native conversion optimisation platform. In simple words, it changes how a product page looks and behaves depending on who is visiting, how they arrived on the website, and what they seem to be looking for. That may sound a bit technical, but the idea is pretty straightforward: instead of giving every shopper the exact same page, the platform creates a version that feels more relevant to that person.

And believe it or not, the early numbers are hard to ignore. Keep Converting says it has delivered an average 64% uplift in conversion rates across active clients in the US, Europe and the Gulf. For merchants battling rising ad costs and fussy online shoppers, that is no small thing. I reckon many founders in MENA who sell online will read that and think, right, that’s spot on.

Mohammad El Mougi said the company is taking a different view from the common prediction that AI will weaken merchants’ own websites. “Everyone says AI will kill the merchant website. We bet the opposite,” he said. He added that shoppers still want to visit a brand’s site, see the actual product and connect with it before buying, and argued that Keep Converting helps product pages “speak” to each shopper rather than simply survive the AI shift.

That message matters because a lot of e-commerce tools still focus heavily on traffic, clicks and ad funnels. Keep Converting is trying to shift the attention to what happens after the visitor lands on the page. Its system can generate thousands of different product page variants dynamically, using AI recommendations to tailor the experience in real time. On the flip side, personalisation can sometimes become a bit of a faff for merchants if integration is messy, but the startup says its product works with major platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce, which should make adoption less painful.

The fresh funding will be used to bring more merchants onto the platform and to grow the engineering team. A big part of the work ahead is improving the company’s AI-driven conversion technology and what it calls cross-client intelligence, basically learning from performance patterns across different merchants to sharpen results further.

The founders come with experience from different corners of tech. El Mougi has worked in healthtech and telecommunications, while Manuel Prinz brings experience from platforms including TikTok Shop and Walmart. That mix gives the startup a practical feel, not just a flashy AI pitch deck, you know? In the startup world we often hear grand promises around AI, and I’m not a fan of buzzwords for the sake of it. But when a company is tying AI directly to conversion results, merchnts will likely pay attention.

For Arageek readers, especially those building commerce startups across the region, this one lands at an interesting moment. I’ve seen founders spend months tweaking ads while the product page itself stays almost untouched, well... I mean, sometimes the biggest leak in the funnel is right there in front of them. Keep Converting seems to be betting that smarter product pages, not just better traffic, could be the real game changer.
