Beyon Cyber, part of the Bahrain-based Beyon Group, recently bagged three top honours at the prestigious 2025 Cyber Security Excellence Awards. These awards, recognised across the industry, celebrate leading voices and innovative companies in cybersecurity, and Beyon Cyber stood out impressively in the fiercely competitive 100-500 employee category.
Setting their stamp as a regional trailblazer, Beyon Cyber got the nod as the Fastest Growing Cybersecurity Company, a category that underlines their rapid rise and impressive results since their inception in 2024. Central to this growth story is their flagship innovation, IntelX. Developed by Beyon Cyber Labs in Bahrain, IntelX cleverly integrates artificial intelligence and automation, dramatically speeding up threat detection and response across organisations in the region.
A bit of context: for many organisations, cybersecurity often feels like a game of catch-up, with hackers forever a step ahead. Traditional methods can take days or even weeks to hunt down and address security threats. IntelX flips this narrative, empowering security teams to spot and neutralise cyber threats within mere seconds, substantially reducing the risks businesses face. Better yet, this next-level tech operates at just a fraction of the cost associated with conventional security methods—something that certainly earns some serious points, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), where optimising budgets is always a major plus.
Unsurprisingly, IntelX’s standout performance scooped Beyon Cyber the Excellence in Cybersecurity Innovation award. According to Holger Schulze, CEO at Cybersecurity Insiders—whose vast global cybersecurity community judges the event—this accolade highlights Beyon Cyber’s significant impact thanks to cutting-edge product offerings, rapid growth trajectory, and committed leadership.
Speaking of leadership, Beyon Cyber’s CEO, Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Daij Al Khalifa, was named Cybersecurity CEO of the Year by the judging panel. Dr. Shaikh Khalid, along with his executive team, received the honour for steering Beyon Cyber through rapid expansion and regional innovation. Delighted with the recognition, Dr. Shaikh Khalid remarked: "These awards reflect the outcomes we deliver and the ambition we bring to the region. We are proving that cybersecurity innovation can be built locally, scaled regionally, and trusted globally."
With these trophies now firmly on the mantlepiece, Beyon Cyber looks set to continue their upward trajectory, supported by a growing client base, strategic partnerships and ongoing investment into research and development—all factors indicating a bright future for cybersecurity in the Middle East and beyond.
While experts and businesses continue navigating this ever-changing digital landscape, Beyon Cyber appears primed to become a household name across the region. If cybersecurity conversations among my Arageek mates are anything to go by, Beyon Cyber is certainly turning heads and making waves. Who knows, perhaps we'll all be talking about IntelX over a cuppa and a hobnob sooner rather than later.
