Lucidya, an influential artificial intelligence-driven customer experience management (CXM) firm operating across the Arab region, has recently clinched a SAR 5 million (£1.05 million approximately) grant from Saudi Arabia's National Technology Development Program (NTDP). This announcement marks a significant boost for Lucidya, propelling it forward in the swiftly growing market of AI and customer experience innovation.
NTDP, a key initiative led by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), specifically seeks to foster growth among promising tech businesses. The programme contributes strategically to Saudi Arabia’s wider vision for 2030, which aims to position the kingdom as a prominent global hub for technology and digital advancement.
This latest round of funding will help Lucidya scale up its operations, advance its existing technology, and explore market opportunities beyond Saudi borders. It also comes at a crucial time as MCIT pushes forward with the second phase of its renowned Source Tech initiative, designed to strengthen the domestic digital economy by localising tech development, outsourcing, and communication services further.
Lucidya’s Business Development Director, Ziyad Binsulaiman, expressed the company's excitement about the opportunity and noted, “Lucidya is positioned to accelerate its growth trajectory and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s vision of becoming a global leader in technology and innovation by transforming how organisations manage customer experiences. We are honoured to receive this grant, which will help us expand Lucidya’s innovative solutions across new markets and elevate the region’s CX standards.”
Lucidya’s pioneering tech, fully compliant with data privacy regulations, empowers various organisations, from large corporations to SMEs and government bodies. Using AI-driven insight, their platform transforms complex customer data into meaningful interactions and reliable business intel.
The NTDP remains instrumental in cultivating a thriving technological ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. Through targeted funds and programmes such as the Bridge Fund, it encourages high-growth businesses across sectors and sets the stage for sustainable development and meaningful investment in the tech domain.
It's encouraging to see another regional player stepping firmly into the global limelight—much like plenty other inspiring stories we've regularly explored on platforms like Arageek. If Saudi Arabia maintains this momentum, the future certainly looks bright for tech businesses throughout the Kingdom and beyond.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll pop the kettle on while contemplating what exciting new startups might soon emerge from this region. After all, when it comes to innovation in tech these days, Saudi Arabia's clearly raising the bar—all good stuff! And who knows, perhaps Lucidya's tech innovations could soon be influencing the way British companies enhanse their own customer experiences too.
