Vulcan announced key partnerships during GITEX Global 2025 to enhance its Middle East footprint.

The firm collaborates with G42 companies, integrating AI safety into projects across multiple languages.

CPX will stress-test AI models for vulnerabilities, ensuring robust data and model security.

Astra Tech's partnership focuses on embedding security from inception, safeguarding AI's responsible deployment.

Future growth includes potential overseas contracts, leveraging G42's ecosystem and Vulcan's rapid development.

Vulcan has been making waves in the Middle East, and its latest move proves the company’s ambitions are no flash in the pan. During GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai — the mammoth tech gathering that draws everyone from AI pioneers to cyber‑security veterans — the GenAI security startup announced a trio of partnerships that could well cement its footing across the region.

If you’ve been following MENA’s startup scene (as we often do at Arageek), you’ll know how quickly Abu Dhabi’s G42 ecosystem has become a powerhouse. Vulcan, which joined the Presight AI‑Startup Accelerator a few months ago as one of just ten firms out of more than a hundred applicants, has now deepened ties with several G42 companies. It’s all part of a push to make AI adoption safer and, frankly, a lot less of a faff for businesses worried about data and model security.

The first big news came from CPX, another G42 arm that specialises in full‑spectrum security services. CPX is now integrating Vulcan’s technology into projects across multiple markets. Between them, the two teams stress‑tested large language models in Arabic, English, Hindi and even Kazakh — generating about 140,000 attack prompts to uncover vulnerabilities. That level of scrutiny is spot on for an industry that sometimes sprints faster than its guardrails.

Then there’s Astra Tech, the consumer tech side of G42 and the company behind the everyday super‑app botim. With over 150 million users globally, Astra Tech’s interest in responsible AI isn’t just talk; Vulcan will be assessing its AI systems to ensure safety and compliance are baked in from the ground up. “Security is not a feature. It is the foundation of responsible AI,” said Astra Tech chief Dr Tariq Bin Hendi — a line that’s hard to argue with, really.

Vulcan’s co‑founder Alvin Kwock sounded understandably proud in Dubai, calling the collaborations a “dream realised” for the young company. I reckon that kind of endorsement from Presight, CPX and Astra Tech will open plenty of doors. Presight’s own boss, Thomas Pramotedham, noted the “velocity” of Vulcan’s growth and hinted at upcoming contracts that might take these partnerships beyond the region. On the flip side, there’s still the challenge of keeping momentum once the conference buzz fades — but if Vulcan can maintain the pace, it might just redefine how MENA handles GenAI risk.

For us at Arageek, watching local startups link arms with global heavyweights never gets old. It reminds me why we care so much about telling these stories — they show what happens when innovation meets trust. And believe it or not, that combination is still rarer than it should be.

Founded only last year, Vulcan’s UAE‑based team has already worked with governments and enterprises keen on responsible AI deployment. Presight, the ADX‑listed tech firm anchoring this accelerator, keeps its focus on blending big‑data analytics with real‑world impact. Together with CPX’s security know‑how and Astra Tech’s consumer reach, Vulcan seems poised to turn AI safety from an afterthought into an industry habit.

I’m not a fan of hype for hype’s sake, but this feels like one of those moments when the pieces genuinely fit. The coming months will tell whether these alliances turn into tangible wins — yet from what we’ve seen so far, the groundwork is there and the energy is, well… electric. Or should I say **definately** charged.
