The partnership highlights MENA's growing role in global tech innovation and customer engagement.

It looks like GITEX Global 2025 is already shaping up to be more than just another tech show in Dubai. Among the flood of announcements, one that caught my eye came from Datanuum and Zero&One, two players making some serious moves in AI-powered customer engagement and cloud innovation. They’ve just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that basically ties together their strengths—Datanuum’s data-driven personalisation smarts and Zero&One’s cloud and AI know-how—to help brands boost loyalty and streamline operations on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

During the signing at the AWS booth, **Mustafa Sadek**, Datanuum’s Chief Technology & Product Officer, said the partnership would “redefine how brands harness cloud and AI to personalise customer journeys in real time.” It’s a bold promise, but given how fiercely businesses are competing for attention online, it makes sense. On the flip side, **Ali El Kontar**, Zero&One’s CEO, emphasised their shared vision of combining customer data excellence with agile cloud infrastructure. That phrase—“customer data excellence”—really sums up the direction a lot of MENA startups are taking lately.

If you’re not familiar with Datanuum, they focus on using AI to predict what customers actually want before they even click. Zero&One, meanwhile, is among the rare AWS Premier Consulting Partners in the region, which gives them a bit of clout in the cloud ecosystem. Together, the two firms plan to build what they call a “joint innovation framework,” offering scalable, secure and measurable solutions for businesses that are hungry for digital growth but wary of tearing down their existing systems. A bit of a faff if you’ve ever tried doing that yourself.

Now, I’ve seen plenty of partnerships launched at GITEX over the years, some disappearing quicker than you can say “proof of concept,” but I reckon this one’s got legs. AI-driven personalization is not just a buzzword anymore—it’s becoming the beating heart of e-commerce, fintech, and even hospitality across the Middle East. And believe it or not, the appetite for smarter customer engagement tools is still climbing fast.

At Arageek, we’ve always been a bit chuffed to bits when we see MENA-based companies stepping up like this—teaming up globally, plugging into real tech ecosystems, not just talking about transformation but rolling up their sleeves and building it. Standing amid the buzz of GITEX, you could feel the momentum. It definately feels like the region’s tech scene isn’t just catching up anymore; it’s beginning to set the pace.
